“It was fun; we had never been to San Francisco before. We had a great time. It was exciting and adventurous” Akili Cooper & Jalissa Malhado, age 11 The trip to New York was absolutely wonderful. We had the opportunity to meet a famous rapper. The Hip Hop Tour was very memorable. We visited a lot of areas in New York. When we were at the Statue of Liberty - there was an actual bomb threat. We were really scared. Everyone was sitting around just waiting only to find out that it was not real. There were a lot of vendors in New York on the streets - the ones in the underground train stations were really good dancers. We saw The Color Purple and went to the top of the Empire State Building. New York was an experience I will always remember... Thanks Aunt Kat and Aunt Stephie for taking us.
